Overview

This article describes the fixes made in this release for awards notifications in FedConnect.

Changes to Automated FedConnect Notifications

Summary and Resolution

As a preface to this fix, it is important to know that Unison Software, Inc., the company that develops FedConnect also develops multiple other procurement-related products, one of which is named Marketplace.

In some of the automated messages that were sent to vendors, there was a section of the message that was worded something like this:

"Please do not reply to this email. Your reply will not be received at this email address. If you wish to contact FedConnect, the On-line Marketplace for Federal Opportunities, email us at [email protected] and we will respond to your inquiry promptly."

This caused confusion for customers who were aware of both FedConnect and Marketplace. Additionally, the wording "Federal Opportunities" was not specific enough to accurately describe the full width of FedConnect's capabilities.

Therefore, that section of the automated messages in question was updated and it is now worded like this:

"Please do not reply to this email. Your reply will not be received at this email address. If you wish to contact FedConnect, Unison’s online vendor portal for federal acquisition and assistance opportunities, email us at [email protected] and we will respond to your inquiry promptly."

This change was made for:
