This article describes the fixes made in this release for search issues in FedConnect.


Opportunities Search Issue


Summary and Resolution

When the user attempted to search for opportunities by agency, the loading icon displayed and kept spinning, but the page never loaded with the list of results.


This issue is resolved, and now when you search for opportunities by agency, the page successfully loads with a list of the applicable results based on your search criteria.


Issues with Advance Search


Summary and Resolution

When the user entered a value for agency and then ran an advanced search for public opportunities, then entered a value for issue date and searched again, the results were filtered for the issue date but they were not filtered for the agency. That was wrong, and the system should have allowed the user to further refine his or her search results. This occurred when searching for public opportunities without signing in as well as after signing in and searching All Opportunities. This issue was not found when searching Directed Opportunities or My Opportunities.


This issue is resolved, and now the advance search correctly filters search results and allows you to further refine the search results.


Steps to Recreate

  1. Launch FedConnect.
  2. Click Search Public Opportunities Only.
  3. Click Advanced Options.
  4. Enter a value for Agency and search.
  5. Scroll through the results to see that they are for the agency you selected in Step 4.
  6. Enter a value for the Issue Date and search.
  7. Scroll the results to see how they are filtered.

Results

The results are now filtered by agency, and then filtered by date.


Error Displayed when Searching by Type


Summary and Resolution

When the user attempted to search All Opportunities by Type, an error displayed.


This issue is resolved, and now you can successfully search All Opportunities by type, and any existing opportunities that match your search criteria will successfully display.


Steps to Recreate

  1. Sign in to FedConnect.
  2. Navigate to the All Opportunities page.
  3. Click Advanced Options to open the advanced search.
  4. Make a selection in the Type field.
  5. Click Search.


Results

FedConnect runs the search and successfully returns a list of any documents that match your search criteria.
