As a secure software, FedConnect has multiple requirements for users to follow when creating a new password. The password requirements for FedConnect are as follows:
- Must contain at least 1 special character !@#$%*)(+_=,.-/?";:|][}{`~^
- Cannot contain an ampersand & or a single quote '.
- Cannot contain a left angle bracket < or a right angle bracket >.
- Must be between 8 and 15 characters.
- Must contain at least 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase letter.
- Must contain at least 1 number.
- Cannot use any previous password.
In addition, to ensure that the password is changed successfully, please make sure of the following:
- Make sure that the current or new password is not being copied and pasted, as this can cause extra characters to be added to the password field, which will cause password failures.
- Make sure that the previous password is not saved in the browser. If you see a password already entered in any of the password fields, please delete the password from the field and enter in the password manually.
